I live in a HDB and would like to setup a tank L 7ft x W 5ft x H 2ft at my balcony. Total is about 524 gallon.
Can someone tell me whether the balcony can support this weight?

I think the best person to ask is the landlord or builder or front office or something. I don't think any engineer on this site could figure that out for you without knowing all the building specs, person/weight limitations, etc. but I could be wrong.

If you own the flat and there is no "front desk", then I would consult your sales agent or real estate agent to get the builder information.

You're looking at around 5000 lbs with tank and stand weight so it would be best to consult the builder or a structural engineer before hand. Better be safe than sorry on this one.

I say go for it! Do you have a camera?

LOL, I'm a fan of this!

In all seriousness though, It will all depend on how your balcony is built. I'm a builder myself and if I wasn't building a huge balcony that was designed to hold lots and lots of people (party area) I would assume that it would not be designed to hold up a Buick of a fish tank (4375.5lbs just in water). If this is just a normal (2 person seating) balcony I would have to guess that it would not hold the weight long term.

As mentioned above, please consult a structual engineer before you put up the tank.

Lol. Ya while your filling it please have someone shoot video from a little ways back but not too far so we can see well. We can call the show " when fish tanks attack"
