Silver aro advise from long term owners please?

Told you to keep her hungry. She is rotten spoiled.
Do not destroy your efforts. Let her starve for a few days. We haave her eating pellets. She wiill accept and understand that that is what she gets or nothing....let her starve.

I've taken over aro feeding, she's not to go near the tank with food, I caught her with bacon last night and she sulked but put it back in the fridge ;-)
Well after the starve day things have changed somewhat. In the past I've waiting until he was underneath me and then tipped the pellets on his nose so he will eat. Today, same tactic but today as soon as I started to tip them in the aro came out of the water and caught them before they touched the water, along with two of my fingers!
She already said he looks miserable and wants bacon ;-) but I'm going to stick to every other day feeding for a while.
Which reminds me, I need to order more pellets, I only ordered a small pack to see how things went.
