How long do you sit and look at your tanks?

I wouldn't mind a tank or two in my bedroom but I don't think I could stand the noise from the filters and water.

use sponge filters, thats all i use, ALOT more quieter then the HOBs or canisters, and alot more energy effective, saves me money and cleans my tanks just the same as any other filters
About 30 min every few hrs when I'm not working. Unless the lights are off then I let the fish sleep.

I'd say around 10 to 30 minutes every day
Really busy with school and work so I can't just sit down and observe...wish i could though....

I have two 55gallons and a 10gallon in my room and will stare at them about 2-3 hours a night

Our 220 is behind our sectional in living room on the wall. I find myself laying in a spot where i can directly watch my tank as my wife watches tv. I rather watch our sw tank then some of the stupid shows on tv. All in all probably 2-4 hours a day as it relaxes me.

going to start watching them more, wanting to get my fish breeding more ( already have OB peacock frys, and had my ahli breeding )
