nice aro. you should watch that severum. it pecked at the aro in the vid. you should definatly move the oscars. that is a disaster in the making. those oscars are going to figure out they can pick on the aro and wont stop.

That aro looks stressed. Need to move those cichlids and decrease the surface current. Also looks as if it would be small enough to partially get through the egg crate. Most likely won't get through it but would get stuck in it.
 
why whats wrong with the surface current ?? also there is no possible way for him to get through the egg crate at all, everything in completly blocked off.. he would have to be the size of a pencil before fitting through anything and even then very un likely....

and the video was shot just few after adding him to the tank so im sure he was still a tad stressed/jumpy from the ride home and everything 2.5hrs or so, and today he is much less jumpy no one bothers with him at all... everyone keeps to themselves any aggression and they get moved or dealt with :)
 
Cool, didn't see the fine mesh over the egg crate. Sounds like you've got the rest all figured out :thumbsup:
