how do you like it ?? and was it really nessicary to have dual 2" pipe's ? you think it works better then say a HOB overflow unit ? when there is apower outtage do you have to "prime" the unit or have any issues with it starting back up and not draining water like it suppose, im debating between a pipe overflow unit like this or a HOB overflow (eshopps 1800)

being that Im over 4200gph. I needed the flow of both 2" pipes. The design, keeps it primed. I've started and stopped it at least 10x already with no loss of prime. Get a quality check valve or pulling the air out tho. I had issues with the valve going bad after water went through. It wouldn't hold a siphon because of that.

is there a rule for the size of pipe ya need or should use for GPH needed ? whats a check valve ? i wouldnt mind some better pics of your unit there, thinking maybe a DIY overflow pipe unit is better then a HOB maybe ?
