Thx, these are Pethia padamya a.k.a. odessa barbs. i think the lfs ran out of males cuz the employee complained how everyone only buys males :/
the males show more red and look nicer, but these are nice too, here's a pic from the web:
Not those, I'm talking about the silver torpedo shaped ones! They are wicked cool! I think I may have found some at the LFS I work at, but they are only about 2" right now. We'll see I guess. . .

Nice shots, definitely try for a male Odessa for your school when you get the chance, spectacular coloring for a barb, IMO. Almost tried a school myself, but didn't have an empty setup at the time. Cool looking Geo's too!
