Nice 5-Spot! How do you like that DW link? The only rig in my stable anymore is my Banshee Rune. Great bike but need to get back on 29" wheels. Although I've been off the bike for a few months now :-(

Love it, just haven't done enough riding on it yet to truly justify or break it in! :(
I had an older 5-spot, last of the horst link ones, and loved it to bits, only problem was it was a medium (picked it up second hand for a steal) which was fine for most things but a bit cramped for longer trail rides. After a while my wife was starting to get into riding a bit more and I had a bit of cash burning a hole in my pocket so decided to build the new one and let her ride the old one. The DW climes a bit nicer than the horst, and the forks with the thru-axle front end make a huge difference in the handling down hill. It really is a fantastic all round bike, can take an absolute hammering on the rough stuff and be ridden in the back country all day.

Fishing, although dont get to do it often:( although im the type who would fish in a puddle of spit with a guppy for the sake of fishing. I do crochet too but only in winter as i only know how to make scarfs and hats really well lol.

Nice! I gotta get back on the trail soon. I got my Banshee on a warranty because I snapped a Chaparral frame but even as an xl, the rune is a little small. I'd love to step it up to a Turner Sultan...and I'm 20 minutes from Turner and Intense factory's...so tempted just to go pick up there.

A lot of bikers, painters, hunters and many creative hobbies! You guys are all fun to put in a room together! Oh, I love fishing and boats, too. I did that until high school. Still do that whenever I go back to my hometown. Only other thing I can do now other than what I mentioned already are collecting electronic gadgets and doing tech reviews. Fortunately, fishkeeping is getting a hold of my budget for accumulating more gadgets that get outdated per each release.

Weight lifting, Xbox, basketball, and ping pong :) oh almost forgot fishing!

Isn't the Sultan the light weight XC frame? If you've already snapped one I'd opt for something sturdier! Would be nice being that close to the factory, I went for the Sangria colour as it was the only Large frame the NZ distributor had in stock, I spent a long time looking at the custom colours page but couldn't make up my mind nor justify the six week wait and extra cost.

Naos I also enjoy fishing and getting out on the water, but not enough to buy my own boat! Luckily several friends have boats so I manage to get out a few times each summer with them.
