I like bettas a lot. I have had a male and 3 females before. I like the females a little more they seem to be more energetic with more personality. I keep one on my book shelf in a 3 gallon with plants and overhead light. This newest female I have a picked about 4 months ago. It's hard to choose only one, they all look so sad and you want to take them all home. Cool thing about the females is they can all go into one tank together but have to be at a 4 female minimum. YOu know what would be really cool? Having a big pond with nothing but bettas.

i was thinking of getting a few females... oh gosh ......my whole counter top will be eventually bettas...........lol..... so pretty though.. i will then breed ........ oh no.. stop it....and yes my heart goes out to them seeing them in those little cups... unfed... just waiting to be chosen... very difficult to choose too..
 
Cool bettas. I like the first one. What's up with the red one? Does he have some kind of warts or something?
