Got some new cats coming any info

Getting some new cats for my 90 gallon was hoping someone had some experience with these cats together
filtration 2x emperor 400, cascade 1500 canister
ph 6.8 temp 75
lighting t5ho aquasun quad 48"
heavy planted java moss, java fern, amazon sword, green cabomba, Philippine fern, amazon frogbit
tons of driftwood

current stock
3x Sun cat Horabagrus brachysoma 4"
8x liver cat Heteropneuses Fossilis 4-9"
1x black ghost knife Apteronotus albifrons 7"
1x yellow bullhead Ameiurus natalis 5"

removed
2x angelfish 5"
3x saddled bichir polypterus endlicheri endlicheri 12"
1x regular pleco 18"

adding
1x mottled eel-tail banjo cat Platystacus cotylephorus 5"
1x Harlequin Lancer Cat bagroides melaptereus 5"
1x borneo churros catfish breitensteinia insignis 5"
2x sold as two stripe gulper cat ompok pabda 4" but I haven't seen them

What is the footprint on the 90? You haven't had any issues having bullhead with the sun cats? Just curious seems like they would fight to me. The only thing I can say for sure is that your filtration will not be nearly heavy enough and your tank will be too small for all these fish when they are bigger. You may be pushing the limits already. Here are some links for you to browse.

You can also look on fishbase, and use the search function here and on planetcatfish. There's very little info on the churros so you will be a pioneer of sorts on that one! Looks like you've been shopping thewetspot? I don't have any personal expirience with your new one's but I can say that sun cats and bullheads can be quit territorial so watch them when adding new fish.

thanks for the reply I'm hoping to upload some pics of the churros on planetcat
footprint is 48x24
havent had any issues with any of these cats the bullhead is the least active he just lays in the same spot unless there food
half the tank is dark from a thick layer of frogbit and the sun cats/liver cats are always swimming around or sitting on the driftwood

I know the tank size/filtration won't be enough later on but for now its the only space I have for grow out
and so far no prob with water quality all zeros every time I test it, over the past year this stock has shared tank with silver aro, delhezi bichir x3, ornate bichir, and moke bichir for growout
these guys are coming from thewetspot I've ordered from these guys before and seem great to me plus they're about the closest for shipping

as far as the sun cats being territorial I have a 55 that they can go back into
yellow belly can go back into the 55 gallon barrel in my yard, he lived in there over a year after surviving in my cooler from tongue river just added him to the tank in oct
how is the windy city? any new pet shops I usually try to hit the stores in helena, butte, billings, and kalispell once a year or so to see if they have any different stock

Nothing new here lol. I would never bother hitting up helena. Don't know if you heard, but if you check out some news clips from last year the one LFS(don't recall the name) that was a half dome like metal structure went under because someone poisoned all his fish. I didn't even know the place existed until after this happened and saw it on the news. I caught a yellow bullhead out of the sun river a few years back at 6" and within a year it was pushing 14". Craziest growth I've ever seen on a smaller cat. I want to go fishing for channels this year. I have yet to catch one here in montana, and I think one would go great with my flathead catfish. If you get a chance there are several decent stores in Great Falls. If ya do come to helena hit me up. The only thing that qualifies as a LPS right now is pet town(if you like small fish you can get anywhere), and petco (same). They never have anything and I tried to get them to order me in some stuff to no avail. lol. I've been to belgrade lots of times I use to sell Schwan's down there sometimes. welcome to MFK btw, and welcome to the catfish section.

cool man, fish the missouri river if you want a channel or the yellowstone by huntley or next time I catch one what size are you looking for? you inspired me with your pond bucket filter to build my own diy overflow/sump i have a mag 9.5 out of a freedom filter all pro that i will use in a 55 gallon tote with 3 5 gallons buckets, first cut in half full of mechanical, full 5 gallon of plastic scrubbies, half of last bucket for pump idid this so the scrubbies would be half in/half out of water. would this 950gph be better than buyer another canister? (either fx5 or similar) thanks

Depends on how big the other cats are when you catch it lol. Probably like 1' or smaller. Be cool to have another native from Montana. Use to get bullheads, and stone cats out of the sun river just outside great falls as well. could catch hundreds in one night during the summer. I'm not sure what you are planning with the FX5? Pump will suffice to return the water if that's what you mean.

my bad i was running out of time on my lunch break i meant would this sump setup provide adequate filtration with this stock or should i go buy another canister fx5

That's more than adequate filtration for a 90 gal overstocked tank lol. I'd say main issue will be getting a larger tank/pond for the future. Maybe my pond build will inspire you to do another DIY?

perhaps I'm thinking more of making a huge glass aquarium in my basement in the future but a. i rammed my truck through 8 of those metal green fence posts and one of those wooden H things (that exploded) last year and it was totaled so I bought a caddy and now have no way of hauling the glass atm b. I work all the time so spare time is an issue c. my basement is full of sheeet d. I"M LAZY
and wal-mart stopped carrying the pot scrubbies so now i have to wait for albertsons to get more
and a question about the pot scrubbies are they better submerged, half submerged, or above the water in the tote?

i had some stonecats in with a smallmouth, pumpkinseed, and some bluegill back in 06
now i punt them cause ill catch 200 to every ling (burbot) i catch
if i go down to huntley ill catch anywhere from 20-30 channels from 6"-18" next time I do ill cooler one for ya
