In The Jungle
I use to have tahitian moon sand (black) as a substrate and I really liked it. Switched over to a more natural look of a tan and beigeish sand. Still miss the black a bit.

Thinking about adding some black sand to the tan sand as my rays need more sand (imo). Any one have pics of tan and black sand mix before I possibly waste 40lbs of tan sand if I don't like the look mixed with black?

Thanks much.:D

This is tan, black and little bit of beige. I am using 3m color quartz

Thanks, I'm thinking of adding white to it to help with contrast for the ray? What do you think?

You can always just small amounts of both, say a cup or two of each, and mix it up in a smaller batch and see if you like it.
