Hello all.
For 2013 I am changing up my stock and focusing on three big fish. As such, I'm selling off most of my stock.
ALL of the fish listed for sale are pellet trained!
First up for sale are my two ATF growouts. I have a Hydrocynus tanzaniae and a Hydrocynus vittatus for sale. The TATF is about 5.5 inches and the VATF is about 4.75 inches. As you can see in the pictures, they have very similar structure but different colors and the TATF has a much more massive jaw.

At this point I wish to point out that I had to be tricky to get their colors to show up. When the lights have been on for a while with the light substrate in the tank, their fins tend to lose their color and go clear. The only time their colors are popping like that is when I've had the lights off for a while and first turn them on, and catch them while they still have darker colors. Anyone who's kept fish more than a minute should know what I'm talking about. I imagine if you kept them over a dark substrate they'd show their colors all the time.
These two fish are absolutely wonderful together. No congeneric aggression and school together readily.
Next, we have my two payaras. I have a Hydrolycus tatauaia at about 7.5 inches and a Hydrolycus scomberoides at about 9 inches. The scomb absolutely WILL eat fish that are less than about 1/2 of his length. Be very careful about what you choose to keep him with.

This guy is hyperactive and spastic like an ATF. He's really hard to get a good picture of. My tank's cloudy because I did a water change today.
Next is my silver pike, Ctenolucius hujeta. He's about 5.5 inches long. He eats pellets readily, this is practically unheard of for one of these.
Finally I'm selling my pink tailed Chalceus. This little guy was the victim of an assault by my Goliath tigerfish and is blind in his right eye. He still feeds ok and has good personality. I'd say he's about 6" long.

Ok, I prefer pickup. However, since I'm about 300 miles east of the dead center of the middle of nowhere, I realize that it will not be an option for most people. So, I will ship. However, if you select to have me ship the fish, you automatically agree to assume all liability of the shipping. I have the proper equipment to ship the fish, the proper containers and heaters, but as I am not a vendor I cannot afford to guarantee live arrival. I will ship the fish in the same packages that I have received them and I've never lost one, so I am confident of my ability to get the fish to you alive.
If you decided to use shipping, you will pay the actual shipping cost plus the cost of the heaters I will use, which I estimate to be $5 per fish.
Again, I'm not a business, just a hobbyist who takes his fish very seriously and who possesses the capacity to ship. If you're interested in anything I have, I'd love to hear from you! I may be willing to cut a big deal on someone who wants to buy in bulk.
All my best!
