My Little Red Wolves are da bomb!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I have no idea why "go pro" listed as an ebay link...that wasn't anything I did deliberately nor is that my ebay sale. Apologies for that somehow becoming a link!!!

Working on the pics. Got a couple of short videos I've done with a gopro camera...looking to get them posted on YT, and then link them here. Introduced a pleco into each of the wolve's tanks...will see how that works out.

NOOO! remove the pleco! That thing will eat the slime coats off ur wolf most probably. There was a member here who had a pleco with his wolf. The pleco ate the slime coat off the wolf and it caused some ugly damage. He thankfully took my advice and sold the pleco. lol

How would it eat the slime coat off of the wolf fish? So far, the wolf fish have been terrorizing the pleco's...and don't ever seem to give the pleco's a chance to come near them. Can't imagine why a wolf would sit there and let something like that happen...especially not these guys...they're pretty active.

Trying to upload a video to one of the wolves feeding now.

Good Choice on the rainbow wolf fish. I currently have 4 in a heavly planted 120 gallon tank. They are all 6-8 " in addition I have a 6" pleco with them . The pleco does not harm the wolf fish. Here are a couple of pics of my group of wolf fish..

Awesome video. :)

Plecos are notorious for eating the slime coat off of other fish. They suck on the slime coat just like they would to your glass and it is very stressful and traumatic to the fish being victimized.

you never know. A second they will be ok but anything can happen in a short period of time... Wolves aren't active all the time.

I do appreciate the warnings. I can kinda see how it could happen since wolves are ambush predators. When they're sitting there acting like they're a stick, they may not want to risk losing prey by moving when the pleco comes along and starts messing with them. I can see this becoming more of a risk when they get bigger, and moreso with my larger wolf in my bottom tank, since he's not nearly as active or aggressive as the one in the top tank (the one in the video).

Definitely something I will keep an eye on for sure. Let me see...a choice between my $1 plecos or my $35/ea PLUS S&H wolves....hmmmm.
