Are red empress and fire hap the same fish?

I bought three fire haps recently from a lfs and the owner said the red empress is a differant fish. He told me fire haps do not get as large as the red empress and color up at 2-3 inches instead of around 5 inches for the red empress to color up. Any truth to this. Thanks in advance.

So there ya go.somebody thought of a new name for the red empress.these fish vary a lot.a super red empress is not really a breed.some just look more red,while some are more blue,yellow body etc....They all have a red anal fin and red streak on top fin,with red patterns in tail,but the body colors vary.
