Pair #1 spawned today so hopefully I get another viable batch from them. Moved the eggs out of the breeder tank and into the 10g. Pair #2 looks like they will spawn again soon, hopefully in the next day or two so I can move them in with this pair without the fear of one batch eating the other.

Kirin can be made from simply cross them but its rare to see. It takes a few generations of line breeding to get a stable batch going.

Pair #1's batch hatched today and it looks like most were fertilized. Whole bunch of wigglers right now.

Here is the largest fry in his own tank. He is about 3/4" and needs a name.

A name:
"Qilin" (Chì-lin) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Qilin Origin of the word Kirin.

In Dungeons & Dragons a Kirin was part Dragon, part Buck and a little goat in the chin.

Two other large fry killed like 10 or so fry so I had to separate them like I did the largest one. The one on the left with the plant in the breeder box is the largest one.
