well this has never been really done before or adleast a documented case of this spawn happening. With that being said i guess im on my own.

I don't know where you were doing research but a simple google search came up with tons of info, pics and projects of people doing parrotxconvict. Definatly won't be the first one in Florida...
Either way hybrid and breeding project are still very cool, but don't get your hopes up you most likly won't be able to trade these in to any lfs or sell very many of them.
Also I'm not sure very many people will be able to sex that fish from those pictures maybe try a better shot from under neath flash on and lights off.

thanks for the input, Can you send me a link of a project with a regular convict x blood parrot? All I seem to find is marble convict with BP or Pink convict with BP.
agreed I thought so as well but yah never know if their is someone out their that knows more then us on this species, thanks for the input as well.

seems to be the closest pic I can find. But it seems as if its not really a hybrid just a large female undergoing the red from getting ready to breed in this case it had alot of red.
well if this is isnt the hrbrid it should look something close to this but im putting the female with the male convict tonight. Hope all goes well!!!!!
