Well for the first time I decided to order some fish from across the country and am I glad I did!

I have been drooling over Black Arowanas for along time and recently Wetspot posted some on aquabid. There was alot of back-and-forth questions and answers between Anthony and I before I decided to fork out the cash.

Since I was buying the Aro I decided to get a few more fish to add to my collection. Here is what I ordered.

1 - Black Arowana (10-12 in)
1 - Flagtail Prochilodus
1 - Threadfin Acara
3 - Black bar Silver Dollars

One of the silver dollars arrived DOA but everything else was in perfect health.

Here are some pictures of the Aro

The Aro will be going in my 120 for awhile until I get my 420 gallon finished (in the works) plus this will give me a chance to watch him alittle more since my 120 is in my living room.

Anyways, if you have thought about ordering from Wetspot I highly recommend them. Anthony was great to deal with and they are giving me store credit for the DOA SD.

Congrats on your new friend are you having any trouble getting him to eat?

So far I havent really seen him eat. I've tried a few time throughout the day and no go. So far its just been food sticks and chopped shimp. He did grab a pellet but spit it right back out. Not too worried yet....

is the 120 a 4x2x2? nice fish, i have always liked arawanas, i would have got a jardini for my 120 if they were cheaper and easier to find...

Nice!

The Wet Spot really is a cool place, I feel lucky to be just a little over an hour from the store. They don't stock a lot of predators or monsters other than Aros and an occasional ray, but they carry a huge selection of cichlids, barbs, characins, loaches, catfish, et cetera - the largest online stock-list I've seen. Plus their prices are really good on most things.

Love the scape in your tank
