i think the female grammode would fit,but i don't know how much glass bangin' she would do.they seem pretty shy of the outside.my male was.salvinis are more interactive.maybe a female texas-carpintis?

Agree completely, had a big one years ago, and certainly an outgoing fish that will be a good 'glassbanger' for smaller tanks

My little 4" grammode male is already a glass banger in his tank, lol. If I sit next to his tank he'll come up to me and flare at me.
