I would feed
Hikari Cichlid Gold or NLS as a staple
Shrimp
Tilapia
Silver Sides
And occasionally beef heart, earth worms, and crickets.
Maybe once a month I would do feeders but I quarantine mine to get them healthier and make sure they're disease free.

nice fish ...I see your in az,, what store did you get him from??for food I WOULD suggest omega1 one cichlid formula...easy to find in these parts,,,
I actually ended up getting him at Ocean Floor in PHX. I was hoping to find something good at Phoenix Tropical but didn't, so I cruised over to Ocean Floor. That place has a great selection. It's too bad it's an hour drive from my house otherwise I'd go there more often. I usually go to The Pet Shop for everything else. They are run by some of the folks that used to run Pets Inc.
