keep us posted on how he does, how big do they normally get in captivity ?

I read they get large n can weight over 1200 pounds , n they eat LIL sharks n everything lol real monster

you cant keep 2 together in fresh water, did that and had to sell the smallest one. i think its ok in salt/brackish. experimenting on 11 more converting them to full fresh

1st is he a true freshwater or indeed a brackish spieces latin name would be funky also

looks like its progressing! i lost 1 of the 11, so hopefully in a week or 2 ill have all 10 in my 180 together with my frontosas and geos. all bbg around 4-5.5 inches

Nice this guy doing well and eating on guppies n oyster cut up, yours like 4-5in nice ,can't wait time it got big

My plan with this guy put in 180 acrylic tank long , with my big fish , once it get too big I donate to Long beach ca aquarium
