I agree the thing to do now is try and help you're fish recover. I would do a 50% water change so you get some clean water in the tank, to this add 1 tsp of aquarium salt per every 5 gallons of tank water (not Epsom salt, Aquarium Salt). During this recovery period I would do 50% water changes every other day for the next two weeks and replace the salt as required to maintane a steady level of 1 tsp per 5 gals. try to keep the temperature in the tank around 82F.
If it's possibile to set up a hospital tank that would be a better way to go but if not treating it the tank it's in will work. Talk to your parents and ask them to help you. You did and are doing the best you can. I give you credit for comming here and asking for help, somthing not everyone thinks of doing. I think you have a very bright future ahead of you and shouldn't let this get you down too much. I just lost my favorite fish do to an extended power failure caused by Hurricane Sandy. I was very sad but life goes on and the other fish needed my attention so for their well being I had to continue taking care of them. They helped take my mind off of what happened. They are all healthy and happy now. Cheer up we can only do our best and if we do that then we can accept that what ever happens we tried our best. Good luck and keep us posted on what happens or if you have any other questions we are all here to help you as best we can.
