Parachromis friedrichsthalli "La Ceiba" - subadult pair

Got them in yesterday night. A bit beat up at the moment but already showing some immense colours which the camera didn't really pick up. The male is an amazing metallic bronze all over with yellow on his face and blue in his dorsal, anal and caudal fins. Absolutely stunning fish. Eating well too. Sorry I couldn't get more shots, they are still shy and skittish, hopefully that changes quickly.

Look great, I have small growouts now, but maybe not la ceiba...do you notice any reddish in dorsal or anal fin? 2 of mine show some...just curious what I might have....

Not really. I'll post a couple more pics so you can see for yourself. Mine have only yellow and blue in the fins.

Indeed they do, in fact they are the most mellow Parachromis I've kept, both towards other fish and towards each other, very little aggression especially compared to my loisellei and dovii.
