For starters i wouldnt keep man handling your puffer, as the oils from a persons hands can irritate a puffers slime coat...

Not to mention, im sure while puffers are very interactive with their owners they dont really appreciate being grabbed...

So maybe try stopping those actions and see if your puffer may become more mellow?

Wow....has this forum gotten serious. I am joking for everyone who didn't get it. She comes to my oily hands for affection. She is like a dog in an aquarium.

^^ This, lol. My baby Mbu gets over excited and thinks my fingers are shrimps and try to take one off some times. Great looking sub-adult!

I wouldn't handle that puffer without extreme precaution.... I've seen a bite from one of these guys and its not pretty, they can so some serious damage

I guess some forget when you see them crush clams, snails and destroy crayfish that it would never cross your mind that they could have a bite that hurts.
