I use the NLS Cichlassoma version. They got right on it. I didn't even have to starve my FH.

Sinking NLS is more dense, it's probably a texture/hardness thing.

Or it could be as simple as whether they prefer floating food vs sinking food. I have fisht hat won't eat anything until it sinks. I have onther that only eat from the surface.

NO. they eat in every quarter. If i let them, they wouild gulp Massivore all over the tank, top, bottom and middle

what is so special about NLS? dosnt seem to great to me.

I assume it would simply be a matter of preference correct? I wish that the company would send out little trial packets with both floating and sinking pellets to see which ones my fish would actually take.
