My flowerhorn got on the other side

My flowerhorn dug underneath the divider to where my other flowerhorn is at and this is what happened. Greatness. How long do you think it'll take for him to heal?

Bet he won't try that again.Imagine the sheer horror he must have felt when the other one laid into him...Fortunately the damage does not look to be very extensive and mostly superficial so with good clean water he should be back to normal in about a month.

I wish he learned his lesson, he's back at it again trying to dig under ... should I even use melafix? or let it heal naturally.
