......it seems to be slowly going away...........It's not as bad now.....
strep, doesn't matter if the throat feels better. untreated infection moves to other places. I know. I had scarlet fever.
also sore throat was strep as an adult, sore throat totally gone, my joints started aching. Dr said I would've got rheumatic fever if I hadn't been treated. which can cause heart damage, etc.
strep screening test/swab & culture is very cheap. don't even need to be examined by Dr.
contrary to common belief, strep can FEEL very minor when in the throat. mine did.

biggles forgive derail? PM to krich might not've been read.

Ok we'll ive heavily googled it and come up with a solution:

#1 dont buy chemicals to remove the algae. Treat the problem not the symptoms.

#2 manually remove the algae

#3 reduce lighting period

#4 perform extra WC

#5 Add carbon because cyanobacteria loves nutrient rich water. The carbon will absorb some of the nutrients.

#6 test for phosphates and nitrates

#7 if your nitrates are low do not be deceived. The algae is probably eating them. So you might be overstocked or something.

#8 get a skimmer or a better skimmer. The skimmer will destroy the nutrients before the algae can get to it.

Hi theres this green spotted algae growing on the glass and i cannot get it off. Ive been scrubbing the same spot with a magnet for 10 minutes and its totally encrusted onto the glass. It sounds like sand paper rubbing against metal when i scrub the glass.
