Okay so my tanks broke out in ich bad, I caught it yesterday and I actually have 3 tanks affected by it and I have no idea how. I raise the temps to 82 from 80 and I'm about to go home and bump it to 84 and then 86. I took out the carbon (it was brand new) and treated with Mardel Coppersafe. This morning a few of my large blood parrots are acting strange, laying on the bottom and leaning against plants...scratching badly. Is the coppersafe that hard on them? I gravel vacced a little bit this morning. I've not added new fish to these tanks so idk whats happening and I'm 100% on it being ich. It's very bad and I'm pretty worried. At work so I can't do anything until I get home. Any help would be appreciated.

I know most people would argue but I haven't had pick in over 6 years if that's any help. I would not use any chemical and get a few fresh cloves of garlic crush them and put them in the tank (1 large clove per 40 gallons). It will help there immune system and I would add the aquarium salt 1 tbsp per 5 gallon maybe a touch more. That helps to.
