You can certainly sell all types of native Coldwater fish. However you cannot openly catch them in state or private lakes ponds or reservoirs and then resell them. You need to have a holding facility and raise them yourself. There is a place near round Valley reservoir which does just that

They sell koi perch catfish largemouth Bass hybrid bass Sunny's you name it pretty much they have it. Pickerel too.

They also sell fathead minnows by the 10,000.

When I have more time I'll try and find the name. I've been out plowing since about 11 last night.

So what your saying basically is that i can start a ''hatchery'' type thing where i raise and sell native fish? I catch the wild ones, breed them, and raise and sell the F1's?

Yes that the concept. That way you aren't killing the population by over fishing native fish.

its too cold unless you live in florida or hawaii or something

Lol if I did I wouldn't be shoveling 2' of snow right now.

I would want an Indoor facility due to weather. I've lived in fl and even down there it still gets to cold to them in the winter.
