Hey everyone. Had this guy 4 days now and I was wondering what I ended up getting. Bought 'em for 12 bucks at Petco. lol

Hoping I get lucky and he turns out nice. Right now I am feeding him NLS daily, and omega one super color pellets. Frozen blood worms and freeze dried krill as treats

You guys are good! Lighting kind of sucks but do you guys think theres potential? Also, I see some people are for flowerhorn food and some think its all a gimmick. Just looking at the ingredients of grand sumo red it seems to be decent. Is it worth it though nased on her current diet?

No none of those foods are worth the price they ask, stick to hikari,nls,omega one and frozen foods, by the way that's zz has amazing color

So sounds like im on the right track then. Thats good to know. So not bad for a 12 dollar petco flowerhorn? Lol. It did look better than "cherry" flowerhorns at my lfs for 35 bucks

Lol I've been buying those "cherry" flowerhorns and growing them out, all are turning out to be low quality zz that look like washed out trimacs
