How tall is you aquarium stand? and why

For my 120 I built the stand to be 38" tall because I'm 6 foot and still growing.

Mine are 4-5' for better viewing. I just stand on a fold-able foot step for maintenance. Tanks look bigger to me higher up too lol

My stand is 41 inches high, tank sits at about 42 inches, you can still sit and see the tank fine but also if you are standing looking at the tank your not looking down into the tank. If I was going to do it again I would try about 38inches, but I am super happy with the room under the tank for the sump setup and everything else.

Same. Viewing is a lot better so it is at eye level but maintenance is harder.

I have a 24" tall tank on a 38" tall stand. makes seeing my fish while standing much easier, plus i have room for shelving, my external pump and sump, and autotop off and eventually maybe even a refugium. Main disadvantage is even at 6' tall i need a step stool to catch my fish or re-arrange my tank. Not a big problem since I dont do that often
