EHEIM 2260/1260 Impeller CHEAP, WHERE?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Deeda,

uploadfromtaptalk1361159883816.jpgthis is the pump off the 2250 canister now running the mystery 1260 pump.

Will try to post pics of the other pump when I mess with them again as I don't have valve on any of the hoses and its always a messy wet headache to open them up or disconnect anything.

Also what I thought was two outputs included with the pumps I saw online was actually just the input and output shown not connected to the pump, so I was wrong about the pump coming with two output options.

Thanks for the pic of the model 1250 pump label. I'll add it to my collection of Eheim information.

Is there any chance you can post some pics of the labels on your other Eheim pumps? I've sent an email off to Eheim regarding the used pump you got with the larger output fitting/port and the missing label to see if he can identify why it is different.

Also, just to be clear, are you saying that you have two additional 1260 pumps that have the larger diameter output fitting that takes the 25/34mm or 1 inch hose?

Deeda,

This is one of the 1260 pumps on my main tank. Cannot take picture of back panel as its against my stand. For reference I show the output of my "normal" 1260 next to the freak of nature output.uploadfromtaptalk1361213812904.jpg

This is the second 1260 pump on my main tank. Also show the standard output next to the oddball output here.uploadfromtaptalk1361213983874.jpg
uploadfromtaptalk1361214713901.jpgBack panel for same second pump on main tank

This is a third 2260 with the "standard" output. Currently waiting for a new impeller.uploadfromtaptalk1361214616562.jpg uploadfromtaptalk1361214485215.jpgCloser shot of the 3rd 2260s back panel.

The 4th pump (the pump in question) is up and running and like the first two pumps posted here, has the larger output where it threads into the pump. Also the first to pump (on main tank) and the 4th pump not shown in pics here all have a 1/4" lip around the output hole as oppose to the standard 1260s output area which is flush with the top surface of the pump. If you look closely you can see it.

I really appreciate the new pics, they are helpful.

I have never seen the Eheim hobby pumps with that raised boss port. That feature combined with the silver pump label makes me think they are an older model.

If I find out any additional information regarding your pumps, I'll post a follow up in this topic.

Cool, thanks. Yea I purchased them all second hand so I'm sure they are ancient. All still running tho :D Love Eheim for that.

Glad you were able to get it to work with the fitting you modified.

I'm still waiting on a response from Eheim regarding your older pumps.

No reply yet. Sometimes it takes awhile or I need to send a second email with a better subject header.

Finally got the impeller in today took 4 days longer than stated in the shipping info BUT for $50 bucks and free shipping ill deal with it. Since I have no use for this 3rd 2260 right but couldnt resist the deal I got on it, will be using the pump to do water changes faster until I either build a stand for my 75 galllon and upgrade the 2250 currently on there or setup a tub to rescue a cat that I donted to a store pond a while back (things didnt work out after a few months in the pond)
