so the pair of bass i picked up saturday were appreantly eating pellets i tried NLS and they chewed em up and spit em out ... so i waited a day and then decided to try some tetra carnivore sticks i had here that my oscars loved ! there about 5 or 6mm and 3/4"-1" long so i took one and broke it in half and tossed em in and sure as poop they ate them so i broke up a couple more and they ate them as well.... now since i know they WILL eat pellets how do i get em to eat my NLS ? how long can i wait them out to starve them enough to eat my NLS ? there about 6-7" each

NLS is not a great pellet to get them started, they don't like the taste as much or how dense it is. Start them on carni pellets or bits of Massivore. Then once they get on pellets try the NLS.

Well they eat pellets when I bought them, but refuse to eat tho NLS I have here but will accept the tetra carnivore sticks I have here ....

Don't hate fellas! I suggest staying away from massivoure for your bass. Once they get used to eating it, good luck trying to get them on any other pellet... plus they make your water stink like death. Fish do great off them but they are a soy based pellet.
I just got a new broko 5 days ago... he's never touched a pellet and today he pounded my nls when I dropped it in the tank. What size nls are you trying to feed them? These are designed to be swallowed whole not chewed so there is less waste. Example. My broko is 6 inches, he will eat my 3mm nls but wont touch the 6mm nls

Search any post on here about nls by R.D. and you'll probably become a believer too
