What to use to patch acrylic tank?

I know this has been asked countless times, but one person says use weld-on 16, another says weld-on 40 and another something different. I have a drain hole on the bottom that I need to patch, what do I need to patch it?

Yea I'm just putting a flat piece over it....so use #40?
