can you put a 40 breeder under a 125 gallon aquarium succesfully.?

my 40 barely fit under the 120's standard stand... we also braced the underside of the stands bottom to support the 40's weight ( it's runnign as a sump for the 120) on a 125 you'll have to do a custom stand 99% sure.. the 40 is as deep as the stand is. imo no safe way to do it w/out either building a custom.. or customizing a pre-fab stand quite abit.

Exactly custom stands are the way to go. I got $150 invested in this one. 125gal on top 40 breeder below.

how do u get a custom stand?

You make it or find someone to make it for you. My stand I would sell one like it for $300 and to finish it it would take a week. That way the Lacker can dry. Then youd have to look at freight. If you have the ability to make it it isn't hard.

I have seen stands with 1 125 on top and 1 125 on the bottom.. I would build a twin tank stand...

I would do the same I built a twin stand for my lfs has a 150 on top and 125 on bottom you could put 125 on top and two 40 breeders on bottom as there are exactly half the foot print. Mine at home has two 40 on bottom 125 in the middle and two 40 on top

if u have the space it is not an issue. i had at one point a breeding pair of flowerhorn in my 125 and eight 2.5 gallon tanks under it for the fry. i also had a 29 gallon tank to the left under the 125 as well with breeding convicts in it. it all depends on the dimensions you have available. i do hope you are not asking if u can succesfully rest a 125 on top of a 40 breeder. because the answer to that is no
