can the cloudiness from crushed coral hurt my fish

I use aragonite (fine coral sand )in fluidized bed reactors, and I need to add some new sand periodically as it dissolves. Water in the tank always turns milky for a few days after a new addition, no adverse reaction by the fish yet.
