Oscar eggs!!! Were they fertilized?

Do these look fertilized? They layed them about 12 hours ago.

Nice Oscars. I think they are fertilized. If they aren't they should be molding pretty soon and you will be able to tell if they are dead.

If the hatch they'll be interesting looking for sure. Momma is a long fin tiger and dad is a fat red O.

Well we'll never know now they disappeared last night. I should have removed them. Oh well maybe next time.

I'm sure it was the pleco. The parents were doing such a good job of protecting them that I figured they'd be safe. Nothing I can do now. Just learn from the mistake I guess.

need to move that pleco into a different setup if you plan on breeding, you're lucky it's only the eggs that are gone. I've seen it several times where either the pleco or one of the parents gets killed in the struggle over the eggs.
