  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Shot a video during water change today, the bichirs keep growing and soon everyone of them have passed the 30cm (12") mark with the biggest at about 41cm (16"). Sorry for algae, its gone now and looked worse on film than irl.

Wow what an amazing collection!
I also own a Polypterus Endlicheri Endlicheri with about 30cm but I have no idea where it is from, I'll start a thread so you and some other guys can help me :D

I also do not understand some things since I am portuguese and talk more about polys in portuguese. What is meant by the term "WC endli" or CB "endli" ?
I also noticed you ad some chinese perch at the start of the thread? what exactly are they?

Thanks and again congratulations on the collection!

Thanks :)

WC = wild caught and CB = captive bred, as easy as that :)

I had european perch (Perca fluviatilis) that I caught by myself here in Sweden, but they died some time ago probably because of the heat.

Thanks!
By any chance do you know it's distributions between Europe?
What where your experiences with it? Where they aggressive to the poly's?

I just know thay are everywhere here in Sweden and also Norway, Denmark and Finland and the biggest I've heard of where over 3kg and 60cm+.
They where not that aggressive, not to the pollys atleast but they could fight with the pbass and dats.

Thansk weirdfishlover :) I like that endli aswell, WC guinea.

Hello, nice bichirs. Your setup is almost like my with bass, dat, and bichirs. Do your dat get nasty with the bichir when they swim too close? My dat got a punk attitude but he's a lot bigger.
