I havent really posted much on my MagnumX Umbees, mostly because of what i had going on. But ive gotten a few requests so i put together a small video and a couple of pics for a little viewing
I have around 25 or so umbees growing out with 5 midas in my 180g. I should be putting together a small shipment of these soon to help thin out the herd. but having so many in the same tank creates too much competition for one to pull ahead and shine above the rest, which i plan on fixing here real soon. They range from 3-5.5" give or take. the Midas are looking great too BTW I personally bred the MagnumX by breeding the wild Location X male i recieved from Umbeeking to one of my F1 Female "General" Rio Mag umbees. so far they are developing lots of freckles, nice reds in throat, and some are getting blues. but i dont expect to see much excitement for another month or so Not the greatest video but at least you can see a few
