I heard all about this fish at ACA lol I even saw a picture my co worker had snapped. These guys are so hard to find at the moment! I would love to get some. Let us know if you decide to ship.

There is an interesting article in this most recent Amazonas magazine that talks about temperature and PH in relation to male female brood percentages. The article itself is based on checker board cichlids but it has some broader information on the subject that you may want to check out.

That was mine! If his pic is good, I would like a copy if he does not mind.

We'll see how mine turn turn out. They have only bred a couple of times since I got them. It will be interesting to see what the M/F ratio of my fry will be.
 
I've been pretty good at keeping them sparated, so I guess we'll have to see how the older batch turns out to know for sure.
