Wild Dovii update "Goliath"

He sure is looking a lot more active than last time I saw him. Your camera isn't picking up his iridescence for sure. Cant wait to see him again in person. :D
 
Thank you everyone for the nice comments:) I never put a tape on him but he's gotta be around 16-17"!!! After observing him compared to all of the dovii I've had, I've noticed alot of difference in attitude. I'm trying to keep him as mellow as possible. There isn't any glass banging or goin psycho like all of my former guys. I'm sure as he gets more comfortable things could change.

I've thought about getting a female, but the last thing I wanna worry about is dovii fry.. So I'm gonna pass and most likely keep him solo. Like I said previously, I will introduce my gorillus blue umbee female and see what happens. But if I'm gonna consider a female dovii, then I'm gonna have to wait untill his 320 is done:)

It's tough to capture their true color fo some reason. Just about every picture or vidoe I take of mine he looks washed out compared to in person. Nice Dovii.

:) it's ok, the only thing I messed with was the contrast to get rid of the wash out light. Some think I photoshop lol I'm sorry but I'm not gonna waste my money on something like that. As I like to keep pics as natural as possible so when people buy my fish they're not like wtf when they get them:) but thank you Nick, this guy still has a way to go
