dude, my brother was so bummed out man. he absolutely loved boar hunting. and I miss the meat. last time I had any was like 6 months ago

BTW, wild boar are very dangerous- and FAST too.
I hope ya'all have Long Distance primitive hunting utensils.

they aren't dangerous to hunt. I mean, yea they can do a number on you in a man vs boar hand to hoof combat death match. but in the wild, the second they hear you or smell you they bolt. unless you like, walk up on one with babies at a dead end or something

Just bought a cold steel spear. Hopefully use it on a wild boar this spring. Would love to spear a bear but don't know if I am brave enough.

You'd be my hero to spear a bear. I'm too afraid to bow hunt them from the ground. I only do it from a tree stand.

I would never be able to hunt a bear, or a lion, or any of yhose beats. Too noble for me.

I only kill, and i kill a lot, of boars with my dogs. But only that.

I am not so sure about that. it depends on which population you meet up with.
my husband was in Florida (not hunting, but scouting around for another reason) and the suckers out there charge people. He was with a local guy who warned him about that. later heard rustling in the bushes and sure enough had to run for his life & leap into the truck bed.
We laugh like heck at his re-telling, a couple moments of extreme agility!

My boss took a Black Bear standing on the ground... Only had one arrow too, he'd dropped his quiver in the chase. BadA man!
