I was thinking about this today, at a small size especially, fatalities of Cichla are higher due to water quality, correct? Since Purigen removes ammonia, nitrites, and nitrates, supposedly, would it be a good idea to have it in your grow out tanks as a fail safe/backup just to be sure everything is top notch? Of course it won't replace water changes, but it should, in theory, keep the tank at its optimal.
I can get this stuff for fairly cheap, so I was wondering if it was worth it, or if anyone is doing this.
