Fish looking good, Scott. What are those two big'uns that look to be black with the white bellies? I really like those. Also, hows the new gator holding up? Is he still playing nice?

Thanks. Those two big'uns are my tropicals. They are sweet fish. My gator is playing nice. It was aggressive at first but is fine now. I have it with a LNG, 2 ripsaw cats, a tsn and a lmb. I think part of the initial aggressive behavior was due to it being on feeders. Now it eats pellets and fillets, it seems to be a lot calmer now also since the removal of feeders.

Sweet, I figured they were trops. Knowing that they're Atractosteus, do they have the aggression of gators, or are they better at playing nice?

Thanks man. Really nice gars you have there!

They are mostly laid back, UNLESS they are hungry and that is a big unless. They have killed my vatf, eaten 2 Florida's and gave my bowfin a beating once. If they are hungry they will start nipping other gars, the syphon hose, and go for my hand. Otherwise they are/have been just like my other gars. Same goes for my Cuban. I will say they are very strong fish! I got in a tug-of-war with a shad I was feeding to my biggest trop. It ripped the shad out of the tongs and it was like trying to take a chew toy from a dog. I just don't want to get my finger in the jaws as from the force I felt there will be lots of stitches.
