At the zoo yesterday. At my favorite exhibit. Its called amazon and beyond and is split up in three sections. This one is mainly the flooded forest. And its features a huuuuge bowed in fish (i hope im saying that right). Ive never been able to ask much about this as no one can ever point me in the direction of who to ask.
Second largest dovii
My daughters hand added to show size. And he was a bit back so still doesnt show how big he was.
Largest dovii in the display and ive ever seen or heard of. The 16-18" + lenght was impressive enough but this guy was about 10-12" tall. No lie!
Ok the rest need no introduction
After like three years of advertising them they finally got arapaima. They were babies
Two hiding monster catfish 3ft red tail on bottom 1ft thick, 4 foot shovelnose on top
In the stingray touch tank
In his own tank. This oscar was actually in display in a 10g for a while. My husband is convinced a letter i sent it got it moved, and his display taken down. I think they just happen to have built this display right on time lol im sure they wiped their butts with my letter.
This guy was also in his own habitat.
