  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I learned all that here, but must ask questions.
trying to get the most from one shipping fee is hard :-/

I hear ya. If you haven't ever kept a pike before you are going to love it. They are such a great addition to any cichlid community. I used to keep them for years, many different kinds, but nowadays I am limited to a 40 breeder, and I really love the school, of black neons and columbian tetras with my red heads, hence no crenicichla keeping for me. Not even dwarves.
Best of luck to you and I look forward to seeing what you do ;)..

I'll follow the advice of pike gurus. variety is exciting when it stays alive. I don't have nerves of steel.
you should be able to get more tank in new house, yes?

For now , not likely. Its only 2 br, 900 sq ft. Until we get truly ''settled'' in, I'm limited to this one tank. In the future it will be possible, but for now, I'm totally content with my little SA ecosystem that requires minimal labor.

I am planning to keep one, but how big does these things grow? I heard 6 to 7 inches are their max adult size... and what do you guys feed pikes? Can they be pellet trained?
