I like Tiger Barbs! I find them to be pretty hardy even with more aggressive cichlids such as convicts. With a 20 gallon long, here are a few suggestions of my own:
- 8 Tiger Barbs
- 2 German Blue Rams
- 3 Gold Skirt Tetras
- 6 Corydoras
or perhaps...
- 4 Platys
- 6 Tiger Barbs
- 6 Corydoras
- 2 German Blue Rams
Giant danios i had when i was beginin and still have some now, im settin up a 20 gallon long to bro my stock i think is gonna be a large school of neons, and cories
A planted 20L with a shoal of Tiger Barbs would be awesome. My 20L is stocked with Neons and a Dwarf Gourami. Had a beautiful Golden Wonder Killi in there, until he started snacking at night.
I'd say Angels were my favorite by far. I had two that where literally the size of a piece of notebook paper.
Someday, whenever I get back into keeping freshwater fish, I definitely plan on having a large Discus&Angel setup
Arowana, my parents had one when I was a child. Jumped out after a year. Moved onto african cichlids then to south americans. Now as an adult, back to arowanas and other south american monsters
