silver pearl arowana?

hey guys!

I saw somebody selling baby fish that they have listed as "Silver Pearl Arowana" I called the guy and asked if that meant he had silver or pearl arows for sale but he confirmed that the fish is and actual silver pearl arowana. I'm no expert so I'm skeptical, but the idea of a hybrid arowana gets me super excited. The other thing that has me worried is the price, he's selling them for $40, the guy did specify he imports directly to client which may be why but I still have my doubts. So I figured I'd post a pic here and maybe you guys would no better :)silver pearl.JPG

Looks like a regular silver to me. Light/camera angle can give the appearance of another colour.
 
I see, and for $120 he's also selling a A1 Arowana pink/blue. I have no idea what that is but here's what he posted as a picturepink blue.JPG

Both look like the same fish. Maybe because both are just ordinary silver aros :duh:

might be trying to scam you. Aros that size usually sell for 40 to 60 bucks at that size.
Those are the same species of fish in the same pic! Silver aros!
 
Man, them Asians is sneaky lol (the guy selling these is asian). O well looks like I'm gona get back to saving my cash for an Asian aro, at least the Gold black fin high backs can be distinguished lol
