Mixing a Tigrinus with a arowana?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Exactly that. And the aro big enough to be sure of itself and to know its surroundings and what lies in it, even at night...

I have had a gulper, i know it is not a Tig, eat an aro three times as big as the gulper....

I've had a Juruensis housed with juvenile datnoids and geos and never had a problem. Is the Tig more aggressive?

It's amazing how much gulpers can eat. I've seen them eat to the point they can swim!

Yeah what I've seen, I think they are. He circles the tank like a shark in till he's fed. Datnoids arnt as skinny as small aros also.

I have a Tigrinus catfish about 3 inch and a black arowana that is 3 inches as well. I would think to wait in till the aro was a two or three inches larger then the tig befor mixing them, but I would like to know other people's opinion. Looking for a friendly response please, thank you.

My tig ate my black arowana the same size as it...just a warning both juveniles. Roughly the same size as yours.
