Well there within lies the issue. For me to fit this tank in my car i cant go with my kids. So my husband would have to stay with them.

Send him with another guy and it will be no problem, unless one of them has a bad back. That, or get your strongest girlfriend and go for it.
My best advice when moving a heavy tank is to plan your route ahead of time. Remove any obstacles, open all doors, including the back of the car. Know ahead of time what you are going to do when you get to the car, as setting it in there can be tricky. Put the most competent person (I assume that would be you) in the backwards-walking position.
Good luck, a 110 tall makes a really nice show-tank, in my opinion.
it's not so much the weight that makes it risky for injury, as the awkwardness. and (for me) that womens' hand grip ability is smaller than mens. my fingers slipping, & tank weight wobbling is why it might get out of control.
MFK guys talk about those big suction cup moving grippers, but I don't know where to borrow any. they'd make ALL the difference in the world.

I just picked up a 100 gal off CL today, the seller helped me slide it into the truck.
I slid it onto a small dolly when I got it home, and got it as far as my porch until I get my son to help me lift it in the house.
One of the biggest problems can be twisting the tank, only a slight twist and they are compromised.
There are straps that you wrap around your shoulders and under heavy objects, and your hand is saved.

LOL. yeah, I just got the funniest image of myself collapsing, face first onto a huge glass tank- out on the walkway.
what a number of wrecks could happen. haha. the only thing that'd be worse than a crash, would be being strapped TO it.
haha. I'd rather just roll away from it.
Take your husband and kids with you. Your husband can help carry the tank to the car. Then you can put the kids in the tank for the ride home.
