cuz she is atleast 25 % mastiff or maybe even less.

If its a pit mixed with a mastiff then its no longer a pure bred dog. Its now a mixed breed.

shes not a purebred but not a mutt. theres so little mastiff in her, the only mastiff characteristic is her heavy bone structure, i bet you wouldnt believe me if i told u shes over 70 lbs

Love the pit. And Akitas are wonderful dogs. My cousins owns an Akita/husky mix...very huge dog actually bigger than me. But one of the most nicest dogs. Gl with the breeding my friend.

do you know what the akita was origanly breed for.you and your buddy might have great dogs as individual dogs.mix and you might get more then dog than you can handle.genetic triats pop up and it could be a bad thing or they might be awesome dogs.anyways good luck.i would tend to agree with a pit for a mate.like your dog alot
