Thanks for the input. Considering how much ive invested on fish in the past lol. Some costing $500 for a single fish. I'm not to worried. But that would be great if you could give me a little idea of cost.
Here is a pic of one ive seen I really like.

Something that size, with that color I would say probably anywhere around $600+ and $600 might be in the lowside. I have seen even better quality than that go for around $400 plus transhipping fees and domestic shipping ($70) at around 2".

I'm definitely looking for juvenile size fish. I know that in most cases you may not know what you will get until it matures and shows its colors and pearls. Not that the prices bother me. But what is the local quality look like compared to the fish I posted the picture of?
If I remember reading right didn't you recently get a new one? If so. Very nice.
I really do appreciate your input

Yes I did and thank you. If you plan on spending big money, even at a small size, it will have amazing color. Should be mostly faded, but the true high quality SRT fade at a very early stage (usually) and show great potential and color even at around 2"

Cool. I thought that I saw that you did. It is a very nice looking fish.
Thanks for more info. Once I get to that point I hope its ok if I ask for some good tips on where to pick one up.
While were talking about SRT's and beings I'm a total noob at them what are they like size wise and aggression? Any other pointers and tips? Fish you wouldnt house them with? Or what other thoughts you might have? Ive got a good idea of what I want in the tank. I just really want to invest in my up front research and knowledge. I'm one of those do it 100% kind of people. Again I really do appreciate you taking the time for me. Some of these fish are new territories for learning to me. Even with my age and experience in the hobby.
